Hojjat Jafarpour is the Founder and CEO of DeltaStream, where he is pioneering the Real-Time Context Engine for AI agents in production. He was a principal creator of KSQL at Confluent, the first streaming SQL engine for Apache Kafka, helping define how organizations process and transform event streams in real time. Hojjat holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine, with research focused on scalable data management and distributed systems. He has led engineering teams building cloud-native data platforms and is widely recognized for his work in large-scale streaming systems, real-time data processing, and modern data infrastructure.
