Smiti is a passionate technologist & leader with 20 years of experience in global systems engineering and IT consulting/strategy. Smiti leads a team of engineers at Datastax who work to architect complex solutions for large enterprises. Smiti held various leadership roles in systems engineering and product management at AWS, McKinsey & Co., Virtustream, Pivotal (Dell EMC company), and Oracle. She also serves on technical advisory boards of startups and nonprofits. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family, travel and read. Having visited nearly 50 countries, she can’t wait for the return of normal travel.
